Josh is Chief Executive Officer of a fast-growing biotech company. He’s 37 and single but he has a girlfriend, Claire, who’s an anaesthetist.

They don’t live together (yet) but regularly entertain together and enjoy travelling to obscure but luxurious destinations. Josh is also part-owner of a country pub.

It’s a profitable hobby he thoroughly enjoys, spending as many weekends as he can ‘going bush’ to check on his investment.

Home is an apartment in New Farm. He has a car but likes to cycle to work whenever possible. Josh is a good cook, but most nights see him eating out with Claire or a group of friends at a local restaurant.

Life’s good for Josh, and he doesn’t want it to be interrupted by what he sees as the mundane parts of life. An average month for Josh …

• Arranging for an IT expert to upgrade his laptop, desktop, phone and tablet.
• Organising a trip to a Byron Bay spa for Claire’s birthday.
• Organising for his car to be detailed in his home garage after a weekend out west.
• Shopping for a christening gift for his best friend’s new baby.
• Dry-cleaning his best suit for the new baby’s Christening .
• Securing four tickets to day two of the Ashes test in Sydney. He wants to take his Dad and two brothers for his Dad’s 70^th birthday.
• Arranging for the carpets of the apartment to be professionally cleaned.
• Arranging for new exercise equipment to be delivered.
• Organizing for his bike to be serviced at his workplace.
• Packing a picnic for for a country race meeting.
