Picture this. You’ve got an important 9am meeting at work with a client and you’re running late because the first shirt you ironed had a stain on it, so you had to rethink your whole outfit. Meanwhile, your kids are complaining about not being able to find their homework to take to school, all while you’re trying to feed the cat his breakfast and pack lunches for everyone. Sound familiar?
You finally get everyone in the car and ready to go. You breathe a sigh of relief and focus on navigating the traffic, wondering if there’s a faster way to the school so you can get to your meeting on time. Then you realise, OMG I’ve left the iron on.
What do you do?
A. Quickly try to remember which of your friends that lives close by will be at work yet or not. Try and text one of them while driving.
B. While you’re stopped at the school, call Maud from next door. She’s 85 and hard of hearing. You’re not sure she understood where to find the spare key.
C. Don’t do anything. You’ve got much more important things to be dealing with. You’ll deal with the consequences later.
D. After you drop the kids at school, you call your personal concierge as you are walking into work. In a 30 second phone call you ask them to come to your office to collect the key and go to your home to turn off the iron.
We think the answer is obvious. Having a personal concierge can save you more than just time. It could save you from a large insurance bill, or worse – your home. So next time a situation like what we’ve described happens, why not consider calling us?
