In May this year, Prescare’s Inaugural Black and White Masquerade Ball was held at the RNA showgrounds.

This event was held as a fundraiser for BeyondBlue, and we were appointed to manage the event from conception to execution. This was our first large scale event of this calibre, and planning began more than 12 months prior.

The ball was attended by 350 fabulous guests, and performers included the charming Luke Kennedy and the incredible Soul Mystique!

We caught up with Julie Lee, Communications manager at Prescare, to ask for her feedback on the ball:

Q. What was your particular challenge?

A. The challenge for us with the Black and White Masquerade Ball was that we’d never done such a large fundraising event before, and we wanted the first one to be so spectacular that people would leave already knowing they would come back next year, and the year after that. We certainly achieved that, and it was in large part due to The Concierge Collective, and their dedication to throwing the perfect event.

Q. Why did you choose The Concierge Collective over another service?

A. I had worked with Adele Blair previously and was aware of her commitment to customer service and to going above and beyond in the delivery of her clients’ needs. With the ball, it was about trust and past performance. She’d shown herself to be an asset to PresCare and there was never any consideration of another provider to assist us with the ball. The Concierge Collective definitely delivered the solutions we were looking for.

Q. Was the end result what you had expected?

A. The ball certainly exceeded everyone’s expectations in terms of theming, entertainment and overall experience. We also learned lessons we can apply next year, particularly with regards to auctions. We have had commitments for tables for the 2016 event already, so this is a sign that it was a great event.

Q. What was the stand out moment of our services?

A. Engaging Adele and her team meant we could continue to deliver on all our other commitments, knowing that the organisation of the ball was in good hands. The big reveal at the ball was probably the moment we all knew that The Concierge Collective are worth their weight in gold. We would without question, recommend them to anyone. Friendly, caring, efficient, cost effective and just fabulous.
